MiPi Community Terms of Use

Welcome to MiPi! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MiPi mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By using MiPi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About MiPi

MiPi is a community app for unconventional artists to monetize their work, protect their intellectual property, and grow their creative businesses. MiPi fosters collaboration, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

The MiPi community is hosted on Beam.gg, a third-party community-building platform. By using MiPi, you also agree to adhere to Beam.gg’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

To use MiPi, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have legal parental/guardian consent.

• Provide accurate, truthful information during registration.

• Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

3. Account Registration and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

• You agree to notify MiPi immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

• MiPi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful and intended purposes. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Posting or sharing content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes intellectual property rights.

• Engaging in harassment, fraud, or spamming.

• Using the Platform to distribute malicious software or conduct illegal activities.

5. Third-Party Integration

The MiPi community is hosted on Beam.gg:

• User Responsibility: You are responsible for understanding and complying with Beam.gg’s policies, as they govern your interactions on the MiPi community platform.

• Liability: MiPi is not liable for technical issues, data breaches, or policy violations originating from Beam.gg.

• Third-Party Features: Certain features or functionalities may be provided by Beam.gg, and their terms of use will apply where relevant.

6. Content Ownership and Licensing

• Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you upload or create. By posting content, you grant MiPi and Beam.gg a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content to operate the Platform.

• Platform Content: All content and features on the Platform (excluding user-generated content) are owned by MiPi, Beam.gg, or their licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior consent.

7. Payments and Monetization

• MiPi may provide tools for artists to monetize their work, such as payment processing or subscription features.

• Beam.gg may facilitate certain payment integrations or services, and you agree to their terms where applicable.

• You agree to comply with all applicable tax and financial regulations.

• MiPi is not responsible for disputes between users or failed transactions.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by the MiPi Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information. Beam.gg may collect data independently, and you are encouraged to review their Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• MiPi provides the Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, MiPi disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

• MiPi is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform or Beam.gg.

10. Termination

MiPi reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the Platform at its sole discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.

11. Modifications to Terms

MiPi may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of The United States. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Phoenix, Arizona.
