Say hi! – we're all excited to get to know you and your business. Most importantly, we want to help you out. Introduce yourself with as much detail as possible and the connections will fall into place.
No hate speech or bullying – make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
Peddling is meddling – this isn’t the place for excessive self-promotion. Don't shill your goods. A good rule of thumb? Give more than you take. (affiliate links are ok, just please disclose that they are affiliate links in your post 🙂)
Help one another – share stories with lessons learned, key insights from resources you benefited from, obstacles you've overcome, and blockers you've smashed. Again, give more than you take.
Feedback requests – tell us what's going on with your business. You have interesting challenges and providing the details benefits the whole group. If you're asking for help but not sharing enough, we can’t help you!
Everything has its place – keep introductions in the Introductions space, requests in the Requests space, etc. MiCommunity is not the place to discuss MiPi tool closures/changes, or argue or complain about MiPi partners, MiPi processes, MiPi teams or the MiPi website. The MiPi Plus team will use the Tool Updates space to proactively inform members of large-scale tool updates (with the understanding that you can always contact support@mipi.io for more details), and posts from the community about these updates will be removed to streamline conversations. You can always provide feedback (respectfully) for the AppSumo team in the Requests space. Please search your topic first before posting, as there may be an ongoing conversation about the same topic. Threads will be removed/combined to help streamline conversations and updates from the AppSumo team.
Create valuable content – The Sauce was created to connect like-minded entrepreneurs and help grow your businesses. Content that does not align with this mission will be removed. We encourage everyone to speak with maturity and respect. Posts and comments with the primary objective of complaining, that add little to no value to the community, will be removed.
Our Support team is here to help – we kindly request that you use your awesome Plus perk, VIP Support, for any Support-related inquiries. A post in MiCommunity does not create a Support ticket, so you'll need to submit a ticket separately to support@mipi.io in order to receive VIP support from our team. This includes questions about individual purchases, refunds, how you’re affected by product changes and more. Any posts/comments that should be handled through Support will be removed from the community. Reaching out to an MiPi team member via MiCommunity will not expedite your Support request.
Be yourself (and nobody else) – impersonating other profiles by changing your profile name and/or picture will not be tolerated and could result in immediate account deactivation. If you’re ever unsure if an account is truly an MiPi team member, look out for the green “SLICE” tag on their profile.
